How to register

1. Search 'NHS bank staff [your city]' or visit nhsprofessionals.nhs.uk to find banks near you. 2. Apply directly on each trust's website — do NOT apply through an agency for bank work. 3. Complete occupational health questionnaire and attend appointment if required. 4. Submit all mandatory training evidence — most trusts accept e-learning certificates. 5. Await DBS clearance (much faster if already on Update Service). 6. Attend trust induction — usually half-day to one day. 7. You'll receive log-ins to the shift booking system (often NHS Professionals or HealthRoster). Register with multiple trusts at the same time — the process runs in parallel.
